My impressions after playing:

1) Station-walking not working on first server. It should be turned on. I cant imagine playing on CB without it. I also wanted to mention only 5 length of station but I understand that you want to have balance between goal and resources, and as a result time of play.
2) Server k1 was very laggy. Many times I was disconnected due to this.
3) There are too many cities! It would be far more better to make 20 cities with 4-5k inhabitants than 200 or more like it is now. As far as i know competition in cities is allowed so there will be pax for everyone. I am proposing this cause there is very limited space although map is big. Imagine 10 players and every needs to do network of different cargors (pax, mail, water, food, goods). Instead of big number of towns I would slighlty increase number of industries. But slightly.
4) I would add diamonds needed for city grow. Lets say from 3500.
5) and last but not least, points. I won the the game but I didnt get any points. I dont remember what was the reason of it but I was really ... disspointed? (to say the least) 2-3 hours of exciting play and 0 pts gained.  :(

Out of curiosity, Actually I tried to see how things work on coop server yesterday. But my PC couldnt keep the pace with server. I had awful lag and I got timeout ;/ There is something to it that (especially bigger map) or more train produce lags.

Suggestions / Clan feature

What do you think to implement clan feature?

I mean coop matches between players. There would be server where it would be possible to play only between cooperative companies. And company would consist of minimum 2 players. Then, there would be time limit (for example highest company value before 2010) or just a goal like it is on current servers. After that programmers would create ranks, tag clan in front of nickname, and short info about clan on player's page.

IMHO 900 rating will be perfect. There are zilions of cargos there so it will be very easy to get "perfect" rating for number of cargo delivered.

Is there an argument on why the train limits are kept low?  I doubt it's an issue with CPU usage.

I think it was done to balance gameplay for everyone. Best players can have limit much faster than decent players. In that way they can win a game with no effort. When you have small number of trains it is challenging cause you need to have well-planned network. It also teaches you to focus on quality rather than quantity.

Maybe instead of adding new points we should make new statistics. Like monthy, weekly and yearly. I also want to suggest table with average points per game  ;p that would be interesting to see

I also suggest changing the goal to 5 billions of the value and decreasing number of cities. There are too many of them on the map.

So maybe a good solution would be to run ECS or FIRS server on #2 every two days with for example settings like 100 milion 900 rating and then compare and see which setting is more popular.

I think ECS should be implemented permanently. But not on server 2. There is no point in implementing ECS on a server where u can transport only passengers.

Also 900 performance seems too much.....that `s the performance level for long runs. I think server 1 should be implemented with ECS

Hmmm u misunderstood me. I mean using server with but different settings :p

So for example the settings like there are on server 3 or 5

temperate - coal and pax
desert - oil, copper, pax and oil

Good players can start with oil and rafinery on both sides of the track. But you need to be lucky with the map.

Diagonal route only! Remember

After your first train got income you need to have money for second train and switch. So you need to plan wisely. Instead of going to server straight ahead, first of all start as observer and analyze map. Look for best position for tracks. Try to avoid farms, slopes and mountains.

I still have problems with start sometimes. But I am learning from my mistakes.

Good start is 50% of success!

I mean make top 10 of paticular achievement , placing scorers according to time they got this. Fastest - first.

Wow. I didnt know that points depends on secret alghorythm ;o I am now very curious how it works. I guess the main thing is about speed. So it only promotes "speeders" ;o

Mainly i suggested this because sometimes you play a lot and you can get small number of points ;/

Your justification was good. Yea some people can think like that.
