Title: Scoring discrepancies?

Been playing OpenTTD about a month, so I'm still new.  However, I'm hooked!  I especially like the multiplayer servers you run.  Thanks!

I've noticed that the score reported by the game server during shutdown is often different (usually a few points lower) than what gets posted to this website.  I was curious why there is a difference.  Does the website consider additional variables or apply different weights?  Thanks.

There are some minor differences at the cv-goal server for example. Currently I´m testing a fix at server x1.
