1st time I saw them, with this clone alert:

since they were playing on same company, I see no harm in opening an exception for them too :)

Jose is known ingame as Pito, but for a more rapid and informed decision we'll need some more info:
- The server you were playing on, when banned (in your case, the first time):
- The reason you think you were banned for:
- Explain why you should be unbanned (important):

For what you told me, "may be destroying was my brother who flips out with the game", creates a serious problem that you have to solve, talking with him or any other solution you find. As you know, "wasn't me, was my brother" is the oldest and most used excuse for similar cases and it's up to us but mainly of your interest to clarify the whole situation, because we can't take the risk of happening the same rule violations.
Give us some more details and while we make a decision, as I told you on IRC, if you're interested in be unbanned, read well our rules page.

as vitalikk2005 said, it's impossible to give specific examples for all what is allowed or not and most of the time, we let common sense function
so, usually, most rules are generic as possible, always trying to keep them understandable.

But, in my opinion, Cossack's action violate this ones:
- "Don't cheat to advance yourself within the game." point, in official Multiplayer Rules
- Even enforced by 12. Exploiting, in n-ice Detailed rules

But I think Cossack will get the correct answer by himself when he answer this question: Is that a normal usage of train locomotives?

Basically, the idea that we try to convey is: "You may not use an object/entity differently from how it was intended to be used". Generic, simple and understandable :)

Cossack already knew that he was on tightrope (at least for me and for several reasons, as he knows :P).

Since he has been active on the forum, lets wait for his answer, and see how he reacts to his behaviour and what he have to say.

And yes influences, and rather, the company's value but not the performance rating, due the vehicles are less the 2 years. Probably he gets a bit less points because of vehicle number used on points formula. Still, a very unfair way to reach CV goal so, sanctionable.

TIP to all: If you spot something similar, use !admin trigger (!admin <reason>). A savegame is automatically created, wich makes admins life a bit easier for further analysis.

Edit:
also you can get caught easily. the cheating can even be seen 2 months later just by looking at the database. because i see with how many trains you finished and how long you took. with your trick your ratio of game length to the number vehicles you had will be obviously differing from the average, probably by something as high as 500%. i already have plans to search for such anomalies automatically and if we find your account ALL your scores will be reset. if you're lucky. otherwise you also get a ban and/or the whole account deleted.
so the risk is quite high.

This 2 had several "general timeout"'s wich caught my attention on the clone warnings after!
They haven't asked for clone permissions but I've whatched them on server #3 and they played totally independent, and even competed in a couple industries, respecting the rules
So, I guess no problem on give clone permissions for this two :)

the ideia is good and I agree with only consider sentences above 6 characters with 90% of the text written in uppercase. good solution to moderate the CAPS usage to shout or by mistake and as geo said... sometimes a good solution to get players attention;
but I would propose 3 steps on the plug-in when 90% uppercase and more then 6 characters:
1 - Light warning, something like: Please check your CAPS Lock state. (1/3)
2 - Severe warning: Please don't SHOUT again or you'll be KICKED. (2/3)
3 - Kick

well, not necessary to place the (3/3) because the player got kicked :P

after some chat's with alex879ro and watched couple games on #4, after last changings, maybe some more are needed :P (xOR will answer to this: cmon, decide yourself)
but here we go:
- Decrease "initial_city_size" value to to minimum (there's still ~6 towns above 4K, some even with more then 5K population)

now, only to don't create similar posts on each server forum :P
from the same chats, other ideias came out:
- also apply the above suggestion on servers #5 and #8;
- make "max_ships = 0" on servers #3, #5 and #8 (basically aren't used for being inefficient in long runs, no more worries with boats transfer cheat and server cpu's will say thanks :D);
- make "station_spread = 14" "max_train_length = 14" instead of Station spread: 20 tile(s), Train length: 64 tile(s), on servers #2 and #3 - and I think not even necessary change the vehicle limits;
- Change to Station spread: 14 tile(s) and Train length: 14 tile(s) but decrease Ships to 50, on servers #1 (well, it's a 512x512 map with max 300 trains) - Op Optional Option ( ;D ;D ;D)
- Since server #8 is long run, Station spread: 18 tile(s) and Train length: 18 tile(s) is my new suggestion;

hmmm alex879ro, I think I've catched correctly the ideias of our conversation :)
Anything to add/remove/modify to the above suggestions, always welcome :)

firstly, I hope you enjoy our servers and have fun games.
About the rules thingy; there's a Suggestions forum. We are open to good suggestions, well-founded, even about the actual rules :)
Until there... that's the rules list to follow :)

I preffer short time runs and play when my wife is not next to me.
Put some beers around... and "that's ma boy"  ;D

my humble opinion:
- agree on turn vehicle_breakdowns = 0
-->> this will require a pair of balancing elements/settings:
- Decrease the "larger_towns" (maybe 6 - 1 in 6 is big/City)
- Decrease "initial_city_size" value
- Since trains are power enough, with good tractive effort and no breakdowns, turn "freight_trains" to 3
- keep the "town_growth_rate", as the station spread, vehicles max length and the other values

I think will make games funnier, more balanced.... and well, for now is what I remember  ;D
