General Chat / is it ok to use buses within your main town to boost growth?

Hi all

I think not!
Buses shall only be used to transport passengers and mail from other towns to your main town.
If you send buses within your main town around into busstops... i dislike!

But it is not mentioned in the rules, more and more people i see doing it. makes me sad:(

Have you guys thought of having this on the long 15b and 20b games as if you start early alot seem to give up and stop when maglev comes in as it takes along time to currently change over?

Complaints / Player stealing goods, no response, went AFK to make millions from me

I wasn't going to post this, but I just logged in to play again and this player is on one of the servers again, so they seem to play on here regularly? IDK, I just played again yesterday for the first time in two years.

Yesterday I created a massive system to feed oil to a refinery in one corner of the large desert map (server 3), and at some point I noticed this player Jessica from Canada brought her station over to steal the Goods I was making. She even named her station appropriately. She never replied to my chat messages about this, and she went AFK for quite a while, collecting millions from my refinery. The most annoying part actually was that the game dragged out because I was losing income I could have made.

I started compiling the newest client on Linux Mint, when I got this message:

Server 8 Temperate Extreme Goal (20 Bilion Goal,2000-2300) / Upgrade all trains to newest engines

Replacing your trains to the newest version available is a bit of a pain when going through each to upgrade. That is how I felt until Utslagsnes showed me in the BTPRO server how to do it easily. Recently, we came across a player in the Extreme 20 Bil server that was waiting for the best MAGLEV's to become available before adding them to his train system. Otherwise he'd have to replace all the individual trains one by one as I used to.

Thanks goes to UT who showed me this years ago. I'm just helping pass the info on incase it is missed here in the forums.

Once your new type of train becomes available....

Step 1. In the Company train list(Train icon).
Step 2. At bottom of train list, select "Manage list" and select "Replace Vehicles".
Step 3. Select the old train on the left and the new one on the right.
Step 4. Select wagon removal if your trains are too long and Select "Start replacing".

I try and keep my trains with the correct number of engines so I don't have to adjust them. If you select remove cars, it will remove them to keep the max amount of train length at 25. If you have to many engines, it will remove cargo cars instead of engines.
